Sommerfest Volcom Store Munich
Last week the Volcom Store Munich once again celebrated its annual Sommerfest in the backyard of the shop. While customers ran down the store inside, spectators were able to grab a free Bratwurst, fish some goodies in the classy duck pool or simply hang out and enjoy cold brews and Jägerbombs. Through and through lucky customers and smiling faces left us with good feeling to come back next year! Thanks again to Maxlrainer and Jägermeister for providing tons of refreshments, and also to all the people who came by showing so much love for Volcom.

The Muzelle Festival
Arthur Longo and Olivier Gittler were hosting the second edition of The Muzelle Festival last weekend in Les 2 Alpes. It started with an amazing morning session on Saturday with all the friends on the glacier and then followed with a Berlin "kind of" festival down in the station village during the afternoon. Oli and Arthur have worked their asses off to offer everyone such a fun park to ride as the conditions are pretty tricky! A fast and quick tranny snake with some pretty decent hips in the middle of the run, the perfect ingredients for a family shred. After two hours of snow surfing, it got too sharky so we went down to the resort to check the festival out. Anne (Arthur’s GF) prepared with her Berlin Freunde and the 2 Alpes crew a lovely zone including a flea market, a pétanque tournament, a bar, an Indian food restaurant, a lamb roast and a lot more.. The music line up consisted on DJ Fred Marchadier, Leopard Ale, YGGL, Pat Burgener’s Band and Dirty Deep. A couple beers after the party ended in the Avalanche club (as always)… Check out the full report of the event on Fluofun : http://www.fluofun.fr/news/20579-muzelle-festival-reportage-et-port.html Photos by @Annkristin_z Video by @muzellefestival Thanks to everyone involved ! Welcome on board! Volcom at Bright Boat party photos
Who says tradeshows are boring?!? This past Wednesday, the 5th of July the Volcom crew welcomed everyone on board the Hoppetosse for a boat party during the Bright Tradeshow in Berlin. The lucky guests could enjoy a fine barbecue on the upper deck, with beers and longdrinks but also a jeans and chino open bar until 5pm! Spring 2018 clothing collection highlights were presented on the middle floor while at the main bar, a photo selection from the Volcom x Leica camera project were exhibited. This project shows the work of the skate team going to an abandoned factory in Austria last winter. Vinyls were flipped all day and soon the party started with Superglu playing a sick set on the top deck. Right before sunset things got serious on the dancefloor with the DJ firing up some bangers. All boat bars went dry right before 10pm, that’s when you know the flow was good, and it was time for all the fauna to find another watering hole. Thanks to everyone who showed up.   sun came out right when the BBQ started Chris Pfanner Superglu BBQ on the sundeck business talks ich bin ein berliner VictorPellegrin The minideck crew Superglu on fire Julian Dykmans and Charles Collet our showroom for a day Alex Maillet - DC shoes Mr Billmisterbill and Paul B enjoying the sunset Lovenskate crew Superglu, an act you don’t want to miss arrivederci Berlin

Euskaltel La Kantera Pro presented by Volcom - Day 1 Recap
Great day of skateboarding on the first day of the Euskaltel La Kantera Pro presented by Volcom. For the very first time the contest hosted a women division, and Yndiara Asp qualified first for Saturdays finals, with some tricks that some Pros would like to get in their bag. A bunch of legends such as Nicky Guerrero and Omar Hassan signed up in Masters division and local host Alain Goikoetxea made his debut in this category with qualifying in first, destroying his home park like only him knows how to. In the Pro division, qualifiers went down and the action didn t stop, skaters battled for 9 spots to join the 7 invited pros of the Saturday semifinals (Grant Taylor, CJ Collins, Kalle Berglind, Ivan Federico, Danny Leon, Robin Bolian and Rune Glifberg). Unfortunately young sensation Marcel Cama didn t make the cut as well as Swedish smooth operator Aron Buzas, see full results below. The day ended with big concerts for all and competitors BBQ behind the ruins to keep the vibes high. Stay tuned for finals day today and if you can t make it, check out the live webcast from 4pm CET lakanterapro.com Also don t miss the shenanigans and behind the scenes @volcomskate #lakanterapro
