24 Hour Premiere of Psychic Migrations - HAPPENING NOW!

Now's your chance to watch Psychic Migrations for free for 24 hours only! Recently nominated in the upcoming 2015 SURFER Poll for "Movie of the Year" with Ryan Burch and Dusty Payne scoring "Best Performance" nominations as well, don't miss this opportunity to see what SURFER Magazine says is "one of the best surf films to land this year, and a must-see!" Over a year and a half in the making and featuring a cast of surfing’s most capable and compelling characters, anticipation is peaking for the release of Volcom Stone’s latest feature surf film, Psychic Migrations. Following 2014’s True To This, a surf-skate-snow epic, the forthcoming Psychic Migrations is yet another inspired Veeco Production that builds on more than 20 years and 30 influential films from the world of Volcom. Directed by veteran surf filmmaker Ryan Thomas and shot on location in the West Indies, East Indies, Australia, Polynesia, and the Americas, the film weaves the physical expression of riding a rousing score of waves with a cerebral odyssey through the scapes and textures travelled to find them. To match the global scope of the film, the international cast of surfers includes Dusty Payne, Mitch Coleborn, Yago Dora, Nate Tyler, Carlos Muñoz, Ryan Burch, Andrew Doheny, Parker Coffin, Alex Gray, Balaram Stack, Mike Gleason, Miguel Tudela, Joan Duru, Imai Devault, Tom Dosland, Gavin Beschen, Ozzie Wright and Kelly Slater. The world-premiere of Psychic Migrations is set for September 17th, 2015 at the Big Newport Theater in Newport Beach, California with a full schedule of North American and International premieres to follow. Volcom’s multi-media rollout continues with the DVD and iTunes release November 3rd 2015, and 24-hour online premiere is scheduled for December 2nd, 2015. The German premieres of the new Volcom Surf movie "Psychic Migrations" are over - so in case you couldn't join us in Berlin, Stuttgart, Munich or Hamburg, here is what you missed. The first premiere in Germany took place in Stuttgart at the club Zwoelfzehn. After that the band "Golden Kanine" served their classy rock to warm up the audience, the grilled shrimps and free drinks got everyone excited for the movie and the big afterparty. Munich was next one week after Stuttgart. The local surfshop Santo Loco placed the beamer in its very own Café and presented the movie in a very genuine atmosphere. The 3rd and 4th premieres were happened simultaneously in Berlin and Hamburg. The premiere in Berlin was outstanding from the others. Nate Tyler from the Volcom surf team and his team manager Brad Dougherty flew to berlin as the last stop of their european tour. The band Franco and the Hindus heated up the store while the spectators did their best to drink down the many free beer, and after the movie Nate was pleased to sign some posters and grab some beers with everyone. Psychic Migrations movie premiere photo recap from Asbury, New Jersey, on October 9, 2015. Psychic Migrations available on iTunes November 3, 2015. The Psychic Migrations premiere in Asbury, New Jersey was an absolute blast. Located right on the beach at the historic (and haunted-feeling) Paramount Theatre, the evening began with the TCT Jellyfish early sign-up party at the theater from 4-6pm, ending right before we opened the doors to the eager crowd for the premiere. The Paramount Theatre Our VIPs: Farias, Brave New World, Spellbinders, Island Style, Inlet Outlet; and our athletes: Balaram Stack, Mike Gleason, Pat Schmidt, who are all from around this area, showed up early and were instrumental in the success of this premiere, especially Mike Gleason. We haven’t seen that kind of community love and support in a long time, if ever. The surf community is alive and well in NJ, and the Volcom Stone is as strong as ever! The crew! ...... Volcom Surf Team riders Mike Gleason, Balaram Stack, and Pat Schmidt, along with Tim Donnelly, Volcom Sales force Tony Lincoln and Austin White, Billy Hume, and RJ Dunzelman enjoying the calm before the storm. Gleason, Gerard Faccone, and  RJ... it ain't easy having pals.Everyone loves Gleason! After about an hour of letting the patrons drink, socialize around the bar, eat some tacos (catered by Surf Taco), we had everyone take their seats and did a short introduction on the stage preceding the movie. Volcom's Billy Hume introduced Mike Gleason, Balaram Stack, and Pat Schmidt, and then passed the mic on to Gleason for an enduring, heartfelt speech. And what a speech it was. Billy welcoming Balaram Stack and Pat Schmidt on stage. Drum roll please... Gleason shares stories of Psychic Migrations and how much he appreciated the fans and love he feels here on the East Coast. A moment to remember. After the speeches it was time to watch Director Ryan Thomas's masterpiece, Psychic Migrations. The theater was packed with well over one-thousand spectators in attendance, and the enthusiasm was high. Thank you to everyone who came out and we hope you enjoyed Psychic Migrations!  Mike Gleason, tunneling through a Central American tube. Tube time with Balaram Stack in Central America.
